We are involved in both rural and urban assignment.
There is wealth of materials
in English language and
we want to explore them for the benefit of these
people. In the rural communities, we reach
out to
people who are averagely poor, who cannot send their
children to school; with the love of Christ. We go
there
with books and other writing tools to distribute
to them freely. We organize classes and teach them
how to read and
write simple songs, stories, and poems
using their creativity.
To the urban communities, we organize seminars,
lectures
and awareness campaigns aim at educating,
enlightening, and equipping young men and women
{youths}. Especially students,
ranging from primary,
secondary schools and above, on abstinence skills, and
issues of sexuality and . We tell them the
dangers of HIV/AIDS, drug abuse, pre-marital
sex,
abortion, and other vices that can ravage
their
future.
We also advise them on the need to cultivate the
habit of reading their books. That we believe will go
a long way in curbing the problem of illiteracy from
amongst the students in Nigeria, Africa and other
parts of the world.
We
aid these students in surmounting over their big
obstacle of
shyness, and making them become more
confident in
their spoken English. Moreover, through
sports, story
telling, film-shows, drama, and
Christian literatures
we introduce the knowledge of
God into the
people. We give out AIDS awareness
materials to
people and through the help of Lesea
broadcasting
cooperation, we received and distribute
copies of the
books “God’s word for you” {Bible} to
many.
